Requirements:
Age & Education – At least 18–21 years old with a high school diploma or GED.
Background Check – Clean criminal record and ability to pass a drug test.
Security License – Must obtain a security guard license depending on state or city laws.
Training – Close protection training, defensive tactics, and situational awareness.
Physical Fitness – Good physical condition and ability to respond quickly in emergencies.
Firearms Permit (if armed) – Proper firearm training and legal permit.
Certifications (recommended) – CPR, First Aid, and defensive driving.
Work conditions:
Security bodyguards may work long or irregular hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays. The role may require standing for extended periods, traveling with clients, and working in different environments such as offices, public events, and private residences. Bodyguards must remain alert at all times and be prepared to respond quickly to potential security threats.
Responsibilities:
Provide close protection for clients and ensure their safety at all times.
Monitor surroundings and identify potential security threats.
Escort clients to and from locations, events, and appointments.
Control access to restricted areas and manage crowd situations when necessary.
Respond quickly to emergencies or security incidents.
Maintain clear communication with the client and security team.
Prepare incident reports and document any security concerns.
